MEET OUR TEAM

David A. Ansell, MD, MPH, completed his medical education at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, N.Y. Board-certified in internal medicine, he completed his residency training at Cook County Hospital and received his master's in public health and epidemiology from the University of Illinois, Chicago, School of Public Health.

Ansell believes in a holistic approach to health and wellness, one that requires a partnership between the patient and physician regarding health decisions. ​

Jessica Diethelm, MD, received her medical degree from the University of Toledo Medical school. She completed her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago. Board-certified in both pediatrics and internal medicine, Diethelm has a special interest in the treatment of cholesterol, adult diabetes, hypertension and smoking cessation.

In her spare time, Diethelm enjoys volunteering in the community. She is a member of the American Board of Pediatrics, the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Medical Association.

Amy Hooberman, MD, MHSA, earned her Masters in Health Systems Administration (MHSA) from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and worked as a healthcare administrator for 6 years before attending medical school at Rush University Medical College.  Dr. Hooberman completed her residency at NorthShore University Health System in 2013 and is board certified in internal medicine.  She chose to specialize in internal medicine because she wants to develop a lasting partnership with her patients and their families and promote preventative and proactive healthcare.  Her clinical interests include preventative medicine, women's health, diabetes and hypertension.           

Megan McIntyreCNP, BSN, MSN, is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who works closely with all of the members of the Associates in Internal Medicine team as a valuable and board certified adult nurse practitioner.  McIntrye received her Bachelors of Science and her Masters of Science degrees from the University of Cincinnati, specializing in critical care nursing and achieving her Masters of Science in the specialty of Adult Nurse Practitioner.  Her clinical specialties and personal career passions are focused on the areas of Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, primary care and Neuroscience.  Megan is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society in Nursing.      ​

Pamela D. Strauss, MD, MPH, is the medical director of Associates in Internal Medicine and has been with the practice since 2007.

Her special interests include women's health, diabetes, obesity, depression and anxiety disorders. With a master's degree in public health, Strauss also has a strong interest in preventive medicine.
Strauss speaks Spanish.
