At our practice, we are committed to you and your family's health and well-being by delivering the best care possible. Our comprehensive primary care is provided to people of all ages — newborns, children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Our practice is easily accessible and conveniently located within Rush University Medical Center.  All of our board-certified physicians are trained in both pediatrics (for children) and internal medicine (for adults). "Med-Peds" physicians are combined internists and pediatricians with the skills and knowledge to care for the entire family, from routine health care to complex medical problems.

MEET OUR TEAM

Amanda Cockrell-Tapalla, NP, is a board certified Family Nurse Practioner who completed her educaiton at Rush University School of Nursing.

Jennifer McDonnell, MD, is the Associate Program Director of Combined Internal Medicine in the Pediatrics Residency Program and an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Rush Medical College. She completed medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, and her residencies at the University of Chicago Medical Center and the University of Illinois Medical Center. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and has clinical expertise in asthma, birth control, cancer prevention and screening, childhood injury prevention, constipation, diabetes, exercise and physical fitness, high blood pressure, obesity, physical examinations of newborns and pediatrics, smoking cessation, vaccines, and women's health.

Surabhi (Mona) Mehrotra, MD, is the Director of Lifetime Medical Associates and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She completed medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and her residency at Rush University Medical Center. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and has clinical expertise in allergies, asthma, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), childhood obesity, conjunctivitis (pink eye), diabetes, ear infections, influenza, obesity, strep throat, and vaccines. Mehrotra also speaks Hindi.

  • Suwon (Vickie) Nopachai, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She completed medical school from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and her residency at Rush University Medical Center. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and has clinical expertise in allergies, asthma, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), childhood obesity, conjunctivitis (pink eye), developmental disorders, diabetes, ear infection, influenza, obesity, strep throat, vaccines, women's health. Nopachai also speaks Thai.

    Jeremy B. Pripstein, MD, MSEd, is the Director of the Pediatrics Residency Program in Internal Medicine and an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He completed medical school at McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Canada, his residency at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Medical Center, and his fellowship at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and has clinical expertise in allergies, asthma, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), childhood obesity, conjunctivitis (pink eye), developmental disorders, ear infections, influenza, obesity, strep throat, and vaccines. Pripstein also speaks French.
