Rush Neurobehavioral Center

Rush NeuroBehavioral Center empowers children, teens, and young adults with social, emotional, and learning challenges to build on their strengths and thrive in life and relationships.  We live our mission through exceptional service, clinical and educational innovation, and ground-breaking research.

  • RNBC Social Skills Groups offer children and teens the opportunity to learn and refine social skills in a supportive and therapeutic atmosphere.  We use a flexible treatment curriculum developed here at RNBC which includes non-verbal communication, conversation skills, perspective-taking and social problem solving skills to name a few.  Groups include direct instruction and facilitated play.  All children are engaged on a developmentally appropriate level while having fun.  Once a child joins a group, we determine goals, monitor progress and meet with parents twice through the school year to provide feedback.  Each child has individual goals tailored to his/her personal needs.

Please contact our Intake Coordinator, Nadine Wengroff, CSAPN, at (847) 763-7944 or nadine_wengroff@rush.edu for more information.

Social Skills Groups at RNBC are currently forming for the 2014-15 school year
