John H. Brill, MD, joined Rush University Internal Medicine in 1988. With almost 30 years of experience as a physician, Dr. Brill is involved in consulting as well as the practice of general internal medicine. He is a member of several associations including the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Informatics Association and the Association of Medical Directors of Information Systems.
Michele Kannin, MD, joined Rush University Internal Medicine in 1995. With over 20 years of experience, she has a special interest in preventive medicine and women's health. Additionally, Dr. Kannin holds a faculty position at Rush University Medical Center.
Daniel Pohlman, MD, joined Rush University Internal Medicine in 1994. He has participated in clinical trials for new Alzheimer's disease medications and has a special interest in the management of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and congestive heart failure. Dr. Pohlman serves as a chair for the Congestive Heart Failure Process Improvement Committee at Rush University Medical Center and is an assistant professor of medicine at Rush Medical College.
Christen Tibbs, MD, received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed her residency at Loyola Medical Center. She is board certified in Internal Medicine (Primary Care Physician). Her clinical expertise includes preventive care, physical exams and chronic disease management such as cholesterol and hypertension. Dr. Tibbs focuses her efforts on encouraging patients to maintain a healthy lifestyle with the goal of preventing chronic medical illnesses.

We are located near the Washington/Wells and Quincy "L" stops. These stops service the Brown, Pink, Purple and Orange line trains.
We are within walking distance (4-5 blocks) of the Clinton "L" stop which services Green and Pink line trains; as well as the Monroe "L" stop which services Blue and Red line trains.
For Metra commuters, we are about 4 blocks from both Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station

The entrance to our office is located on Franklin Street. All visitors are required to stop at security and show a valid photo ID.

In the event that you need to be hospitalized, we will refer you to Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized institution for quality, innovative, and technologically advanced care. Your primary care doctor or one of their partners will be notified of your admission and will visit you during your inpatient stay. We will also ensure that you receive appropriate post-discharge follow up.
