John Brill, MD, joined Rush University Internal Medicine in 1988. With over 25 years of experience as a physician, Brill has a special interest in asthma management. He is an active member of several associations including the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Informatics Association and the Association of Medical Directors of Information Systems. Brill is a physician consultant for Lyric Opera of Chicago and is also a consultant specializing in physician adoption of electronic medical records.

Bruce H. Huck, MD, is the medical director of Rush University Internal Medicine, and has been with the practice since 1987. He has been a fellow of the American College of Physicians since 1996. Dr. Huck has an interest in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic medical problems, and in the ongoing care of the well adult. He is particularly interested in the care of adults with asthma, diabetes and hypertension. Active in the teaching of medical students and residents, Huck taught pathophysiology in the medical school curriculum for 18 years, and has supervised medical students and residents in his practice of medicine since 1995.

Michele Kannin, MD, joined Rush University Internal Medicine in 1995. With over 20 years of experience, she has a special interest in preventive medicine and women's health. Additionally, Kannin holds a faculty position at Rush University Medical Center.

Daniel Pohlman, MD, joined Rush University Internal Medicine in 1994.  He has participated in clinical trials for new Alzheimer's disease medications and has a special interest in the management of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and congestive heart failure. Pohlman serves as a chair for the Congestive Heart Failure Process Improvement Committee at Rush University Medical Center and is an assistant professor of medicine at Rush Medical College. ​
